Class Information
Pilates Mat Fundamentals
This is a great class for someone relatively new to Pilates or someone with movement limitations. Your instructor will assist you in the proper form and positioning of the body as you are guided through the classic mat repertoire. This class will challenge your body & your mind, and you will leave feeling taller and stronger.
Pilates Mat Props, Mixed Level
This is a fabulous class for adding varied challenges to your mat workout, reinforcing and building upon the principles mastered in the Fundamentals class. Gain additional strength and flexibility by using light equipment that mimics the movements on the reformer, allowing for more peripheral (arm and leg) strengthening and lengthening exercises. Small equipment includes mini stability balls, flex bands, magic circles, foam rollers, BOSUs, and large stability balls.
TRX
A 30 minute class on the Suspension Trainer born out of the Navy Seals. The system provides a revolutionary method of leveraged body weight exercise while using the Pilates Principles of form, control, and breathe. You determine the level of challenge that is right for you, so every workout provides exactly what your body needs.
Yoga Flow
This is a multi-level class filled with body-warming sun salutations and strengthening warrior poses that will leave you feeling warm, energized, balanced and ready for the day ahead. Modifications will be offered that will allow almost any client to feel both challenged and successful throughout the class.
Ballet Flow
This class provides a high energy, low impact, fat burning workout. Its focus is on intensive isometric movements that sculpt the thighs, tone and firm the buttocks, flatten the abdominals and define the arms. Focused stretching to lengthen, tone and increase flexibility compliments a total body workout. The class incorporates current biomechanical principles of Pilates, Ballet and general fitness concepts and is available to all fitness levels.
Fusion
This mat class will emphasis the Pilates principles of proper spinal alignment and stabilization while flowing through slower sun salutations. Classic mat Pilates exercises will be interspersed throughout the class, and we will conclude with deep stretches to leave you feeling relaxed and stress-free.
